Several experiences helped set me up for success. My CHPH internship gave me hands-on experience with varsity athletes and boosted my leadership and communication skills. Studying abroad in Costa Rica helped me grow through real-world research and cultural exposure. Being an Outstanding Scholars candidate pushed me academically and opened up unique learning opportunities, like the UWill Discover conference. I had an amazing experience at the University of Windsor. The small class sizes allowed for me to better know my professors, some of whom I still maintain contact with today! The proximity to the Toldo Lancer Centre helped me to further my involvement in the field of campus recreation, and many of the staff in that department were great champions for allowing students to find ways to gain experience towards their desired career path.
